Brief History of Mosquito Control of Iowa We at Mosquito Control Of Iowa have been spraying mosquito for over 20 years with over a 95% renewal of contracts. We originated and continue to improve the "FULL PROGRAM", which uses the IPM (Integrated Pest Management) concept of surveying, monitoring, identification, larvaciding, adulticiding, and barrier control. We have the most comprehensive line of equipment including several ULVs that can allows us to spray cities four times faster while weather conditions are optimum. We have four wheelers and back packs that can be used for larvaciding and adulticiding in off road areas normally not accessible to our spray trucks. For barrier control we have LPG (Liquid Power Gun), air blast sprayers mounted on trucks, and four wheelers. We have designed and built the ORLAS, RAS, and the pressure blaster. We are licensed and certified by the state of Iowa. We are also certified by the state of Florida in droplet analysis and sprayer calibration. This year we will be testing GPS (Global Positioning Systems) in our trucks as we continue to set the standard for excellence. |
